Sun Odyssey 449 CALL FOR PRICING

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 449

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 449 is all about choice.  There are two rig options for the Sun Odyssey 449, three head sail versions, two keel options and no less than three layouts with two, three or four cabins.

The Sun Odyssey 449 was designed by Philipe Briand.  The modern hard chine hull is fast and easily driven, it is well ballasted to take a performance 140% Genoa and fully battened main sail.  This yacht is designed to also cruise with in mast furling and a self tacking jib making her even easier for short or single handed sailing and that is no mean feat.

449 cockpit

The 449 has the Sun Odyssey trade mark twin steering wheels, the winches led aft to the helm, it has a large cockpit table and the huge bathing platform make for a safe comfortable and practical cockpit that is found throughout the Sun Odyssey range.

The cockpit boasts good sized lockers and Lazerettes which take care of all the equipment, there is a dedicated life raft locker in the cockpit floor which is also large enough to stow buckets and sponges etc.

Down below on the Sun Odyssey 449, the cabin is light and well ventilated.

449 saloon

Double hull ports provide a view of the sea when seated whilst double hatches with insect screens and black out blinds provide plenty of fresh air and natural light.

LED lights, under furniture lights and reading lamps allow you to set the mood once the sun goes down and the plentiful use of natural wood and white head and hull linings combine to give a light but cosy feel.
