JEANNEAU SUN ODYSSEY 519

The Jeanneau 519 is the flag ship of the iconic Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range.

Drawn by French Naval Architect Philippe Briand, her low free board hard chine hull, combined with flat coach roof and flush hatches make her a strikingly beautiful yacht.

Wide side decks and inboard shrouds make moving around on deck safe and comfortable.

Her powerful mast with batten mainsail and furling Genoa make the most of her fast hull and Harken winches and deck gear all controlled from the cockpit make her easy to sail.

The large cockpit with twin wheel steering and fixed cockpit table with folding leaves are the hall mark of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range, while the folding transom gate gives you a perfect bathing platform for access to the sea.

Storage is designed for long distance cruising, the sail locker has a ladder and light for access. set immediately behind the anchor locker it is perfect for storing spinnakers and the like but is also great for bikes diving cylinders and deflated tenders. In the cockpit large lockers to port and starboard take the fenders and lines while deep lazarettes in the floor will cope with everything else.

The boat has a wealth of options for sail plans, the standard batten mainsail and furling Genoa are all handled from the cockpit with a lazy jacks sail pack away and single line reefing led aft to the cockpit. In mast furling, self tacking jib options as well as a performance versions make this a flexible boat that can be tailored to suit the kind of sailing you want to do.

The T shaped galley is the product of a well thought out and planned design.  Corian work tops designed to provide work areas that do not restrict movement around the boat for other guests makes cooking on board a pleasure rather than a chore.
